Angry MP4-18 delayed again

It looks like we have to wait another month at least before they release the all singing all dancing MP4-18.

This is terrible news! Ferrari just overtook Mercedes in the drivers and constructors and now Williams has upped their game as well (FW25 finally works without crapping out).

Looks like McLaren might do very poorley the next two races

I'm not too worried. Apparantly the problem with the Williams is a high-speed corner downforce issue, a problem that wouldn't manifest itself at the past two tracks (no fast corners). Also the new Ferrari doesn't seem to me to be much better than last year's. Schumacher wouldn't have won Canada if it were easier to pass there, he was obviously holding up both Williams and Alonso.

I think McLaren is delaying introduction partly because the 17D is still pretty competitive. Kimi would have been on the podium if he had qualified better.

On the bright side, the 18 was 0.9 seconds faster than the Williams in testing yesterday.

Cheers, BT

It really sucks that DC's gearbox crapped out too, he was in the points when he had to bow out. I still have hope for McLaren, i think the MP4-18 is going to shock a lot of people.
