OT: Racing Terms
Anyway, I'm hearing turns on road courses being described with such terminology as "130R". At Suzuka, the 130R happens to be the wickedly fast sweeper, perhaps the most demanding in all of F1. Anyone know what the 130 means?
To avoid the risk of having this thread deleted, I might also ask if anyone has tracked their car?
Taking 130R flat out looks to be fun, though not as good as Eau Rouge (the best!).
also, 130 degrees is an awfully tight corner to be taken flat out
That's true.....you don't want to mess arround with 130 degrees turn.
If you think 130R is confusing, you should hear Rally Co-driver's terms of turns. They got a whole bunch of codes for every single type of turns.
Uhh....btw.....I don't know what 130R means......sorry
I have no backing for this, just giving my first impressions.
Moved.
130R has a reputation for sorting out the men from the boys: the boys lift off the throttle when going through it in top gear, the men don't. An F1 car is doing a lot more than 130 MPH or km/h on 130R.
