Last race
We'll, even though he didn't look happy at all, at least Kimi got on the podium in his last race of the season. He might have even gotten 1st place if it wasn't for the slow pitstop. I'm very excited about next year with him & JPM. If their egos don't collide & they work as a team, we could very well dominate next season.

Montoya is a master on cold tires, even if Kimi could have held JPM off on turn #2 I think he would have gotten around him. Montoya really put some distance between them on that stint but Kimi came back after the second pit stop.
I can't wait for next year. If Mclaren can put a good car together JPM & Kimi are going to be tough to beat. Ferrari needs to be put in their place.

If this is true, I hope that Montoya will be totally focused on the team and winnning.

Practice should start in November and up again in early/mid-January for most teams (those with $$$). February will be full of practice/test sessions, up until race weekend in March in Australia. McLaren Mercedes will be practicing in Spain (Valencia & Barcelona) Nov. 23-26.

I personally, can't stand JP Montoya. I think he is arrogant and reckless !
Just a "niño fresa" from Colombia.
But my love for McLaren Mercedes overrides the hatred.
I wish McLaren the very best in the 2005 season, I just hope KIMI steps it up a notch and proves that he is the best of the two !

It's gonna be one interesting season to say the least. It could be great or disasterous, a lot of ego & testosterone on that team.

2004 Season Finale
How fitting it was that at the 2004 F1 season finale Juan Montoya won the race (dominated) while Kimi finished second.
So that was a 1-2 for these two concluding the year (with Juan finishing up his stint with BMW).
Hope this sets the stage for this dual to continue more of the same next year with MB getting back into the mix for the championship.
