how much hp thoes a 1983 mercedes 500 sel haves?

i yous wanted to know how much horsepower did this car brought?(euro version)

engines 117.964 and 117.965 Rüf-version (German): 245 HP, from sept.'87 on: 265 HP. Same but with catalyst: 223 HP, from sept.'87 on: 252 HP. Same engines but with lower compression (for USA, or certain states): 231 HP.

is that the same "ruf" that tunes porsches?
what your saying is that some mercedez have ruf engines?

Rüf has nothing to do with the tuner called Rüf. It is just an engine version for German market and emission laws.
