SL55 Rear End Sag
Hi
My '03 SL55's tail end sags after sitting a few days. This might not concern me except that it's only the left rear side that does so. Start it up, put it in gear, and it levels off.
The dealer says they don't have a way to physically check the components of the suspension system, but that the car throws a fault code indicating the car sits too long, no other codes. He suggests I drive it for consecutive days to see if the sag occurs then.
Over a 24-hour period of sitting, it does settle a little, left rear only. Looks to take about 3 days for it to come to a rest.
Anyone have/had a similar problem? Suspension problem that needs attention?
