My warning on start up fo B service is showing and would like to know how to reset the warning as I don't plan on taking it in. I do all my own services and would like to know how to reset any warnings that might pop up. I own a 2002 C230 Coupe

Hi, the procedure should be in your owner's manual....
Congrats on doing your own maintenance.

![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I guess I should have looked there but thought MB would not put info like that into the manual. Anyway, I did try what the manual said and it didn't work. Page 139 of my manual says to push the display symbols till the FSS indicator shows but mine wont go there. Wonder if I have to wait till after my warning
number of days (27) is done before I can reset??

You have to have the key in the ignition and turned to position 2, it's the position just before the car starts. Then go to the FSS screen, or where is says Service B due in xxxx - Hold down the reset button until it ask's if you want to reset the service interval. Then push the reset buton again.
And Yes it does cycle from A service to B service, then repeats every reset.

Great ! Thanks for the help. The problem I had was that the manual said the get to the FSS screen by using the page buttons, not the up down arrows. My car only has 10,000 miles and not winter driven so a B service is not going to happen. I will probably change the antifreeze and brake fluid in the fall. The B service is costly and do as much as I can on my own. Tire rotation and brake inspection are easy for me. I did let MB do the A sevice and the oil changes to date for warranty purposes but now I am taking over.
