2K3 SL500 turn signal change
i know this is probably easier than it seems, but i tried to take out the bulb thought i had it and it was the one below but its quite odd because the socket i pulled out seems like it should be in the spot where the turn signal is. i also tried to take out the headlight assembly completely. i took two bolts out, and nothing. i cannot figure this out. please help. thanks

so i have to remove the bumper on the passenger side slightly to remove? hmm just to change the light that is kinda odd. i think it would be easier to remove the part of the engine that is in the way. is there another way to replace this bulb?

That is to remove the headlamp assembly you refered to. In order to change the turn signal bulb, you remove the socket and replace. If you can't find the socket or are unable to perform this task in under 5 minutes, you might want to take it in to the dealer.
