Cabin ACC Fan - One Speed Only!
Interesting problem in a '94 SL500 (plain vanilla car; nothing special) - the fan used to circulate the air conditioned air in the passenger cabin has only one speed - low. Regardless of which fan setting I choose (except off), the fan runs at low speed. Thus, if it's a hot California day and the A/C is set to cold and the cabin is hot, the fan runs at low speed. This fan speed occurs whether using A/C or heat. This low speed occurs whether using auto-fan speed control or manual button control. Also, the Control Module in the cabin (the unit that the human interfaces with and pushes buttons) is NOT the problem - I swapped it with another known good unit and it had no effect. Not sure where to troubleshoot next. Any ideas?

Well my car '96 S320 only runs on slow and have found there is a fan motor speed modual.( I have seen it called a couple things) I am ordering it today.
Have found it runs from $170 to $300 dealer who nows) local Phoenix place is & the $170 & I think they ship free over $50. Good luck Rod
