HELP - newbie and issues!!!
Hi there,
I've been monitoring this forum for a while, but only took possession of my 03 CLK320 a couple of days ago. I've been doing quite a bit of driving/testing and have noticed a couple of things on my car:
1) Car comes with Xenon. Supposedly when the lighting switch is at "0" the xenon should be OFF (correct me if I am wrong). But mine stays on ... is this a problem or is there a setting I can correct this?
2) Sometimes my console display (where you see green arrows indicating turning lights and the red triangle symbol representing emergency blinker) would go out and not show anything when I am turning or switch on the emergency blinker. This will last anywhere to 5min to 30min, and these lights will come back on whenever they like??? I've also seen the GREEN ARROW stay on after I've completed a turn, and it will go away after a while...
Has anyone experienced these problems? These are not major issues but definitely annoying as hell. I can't imagine if this starts to affect the gasoline gauge and I won't be able to tell how much fuel the car has left ....
