Finicky A/C 2002 S500
Anyone else experience this? What is the problem?
When I get in the car and start it, occasionaly the a/c does nothing or at least the fan system is not blowing. I am not sure if the rest of the system is working but the fan is off completely off. If I mess around with the controls a bit it will come on. This has happened about once a week for the last six weeks. I am afraid this is one of those intermintin problems that will never show itself at the shop! Will this get progressivly more frequent? Will it go away? What do I do?

my a/c worked fine, however the fan only blew at 1/2 speed 5 min after start up. MB reconnected a loose vaccuum hose which solved the problem. The rear vents did not blow sufficient air and was inconsistenly on. They replaced the blower moter for that.
