anyone have this experience before, the engine light came on and doesn't go away. I read the manual, but it did not state anything useful for me to try. The car actually goes on a "limp home mode" of some sort, it will vibrate and when i try to drive off, it gives rattling sounds and seems like underpower and also feel like losing 1 of the injectors.

The first step is to get your car to a mechanic and read the codes. This'll help narrow down the location of the problem. Some auto stores have a tool rental program where you can borrow an OBD2 code reader.
