Tranny Problems
Last day i was driving and made a sharper right turn after that something happend and my tranny would not shift gears it just stayed on 1 or 2 this is the second time it happend. The first time i took the car to a dealer to see what was wrong i thought meaby the fluid was low but he said everythind was good that it happened because i put bigger wheels on the car (18') but before i had 17' and it never happened to me anyboty please help.
Could be an intermittent electronic trans module or, a bad speed sensor. The problem with modifying any vehicle under warranty is that you leave yourself open for a response like that and, it may be true as you become a test pilot when you put on unauthorized stuff.

The dealer told me that its gonna keep doing this when i do sharp fast turns because the trrany has some kind of len mode or something like that and not to wory just when it happens stop turn the car off and start it again and go . Thank you guys anyway.
"Stop turn the car off and start it again" is an unacceptable answer. Once the car straightens out it should be able to shift. I don't believe the wheels are the problem or there would be bunches of similar posts. How long have you had the wheels and how many miles are on your car?

When this happens a fault code must be in memory. If it would be the wheels a fault code would say that the transmission slips. We've had something like that with a garage who mounted a wrong rear differential. But if you mount other wheels the revolutions measured at the wheels are still in proportion to the revolutions measured in the transmission. With another rear differential it is not, so the EGS "thinks" that the transmission slips. There are also plenty of cars with other (bigger) wheels, and they do not have this problem.
Are you sure there are no fault codes in memory and oil level is correct?

I realy have no idea thats what the dealer told me. I 68.000 miles on the car changed the fluid at 60.000 miles and have the wheels for 2000 miles. They are rear 245/40 18 front 225/40 18 so what you guys think the tranny is giving up or what naow for almost a week no problems yet.
