W210 gear shift knob
Can anyone help me out with how to remove the gear shift knob from a 98 E430? I am going to replace the shaft plate and need the knob off to do it.

Staplegun hooked me up with the right answer. Came right off once I was certain of the right way to do it.

New burl shaft plate insert and chrome bezel to hide that flat black plastic.
