E320 Touring Audio 10 ICE>Linkplus Ipod install
Hi a friend of mine has a E320 touring approx 5 years old. The car looks like it has a Audio 10 head unit with single slot cd player. If i press CDC button the display shows NO CDC so i know this car does not have a multiplay. I will get the dension Merc kit as this car must have D2B fibre system. I take it that because this car has a BOSE speaker system and looks like a big amp in the rear that the fibre system would be active ?. If so can i just connect into this and the CDC will be recognised or does this need to be tured on ? The last question is would there be fiber cables pre wired in this car and if so at what part would the cd be factory fitted ?. Also would any other things be on the fibre ring as i dont think this has a phone installed. Thanks for your help. I have just done this install to a CLK55 AMG but this had a exsisting cd player of which i removed. I am a BMW man so lerning about mercs
