Brakes lock on 300TD after bleeding
After replacing several rear brake lines and the master cylinder, I have had brake (vapor?) lock continually. The pedal stays very hard after this and the car won't move. ABS light is on, but it always was and didn't make a difference.
At the same time, the motor doesn't like to shut off - some sort of vacuum line problem? The car runs great, but I hesitate to send it in for $$ repair if I can handle it... any help would be welcome!

Have the pistons been removed from the calipers? It is likely that the pistons and bores need to be cleaned. There may be corrosion and crud causing piston binding.
Has the brake fluid been replaced yet? Check the service interval for fluid replacement.
