possible problems with suspension?
i'm thinking about getting an aftermarket suspension kit (shocks and springs). However, I have extended warranty. Should I do it? or is it better to leave stock springs and shocks for warranty purposes? what possible problems could i encounter with aftermarket suspension?
i had the same questions, but as i spoke to my dealer and the representative from H&R, it was described to me the warranty on the car is NOT void. The suspension component i.e. springs, shocks are the only components will be not covered if you get suspension work done. Like standard suspension, under normal use, the wear and tear is always there. If you plan to get performance shocks and springs, then, this is meant for two purposes:
1. Aggressive driving style
2. Aggressive looks
If you will not be racing 120mph and cornering on a dime, then, your aftermarket components should be fine for a long time.
Normal driving shouldn't be a cause of worry for ya.
