Your worst nightmare...
E55, CL55 engine into a C32----

it's my first time posting in this particular side of the forum but i have a question for any MB tech out there. Can i fit any other V8 -5.5 litter into my C32. That is aside from the C55. I spoke to a friend that works for MBusa at Long Island and he said it can be done with some modification, he mentioned I would need the ECU, maybe the tranny and all the modules for the car that the engine belongs to.
I know this sounds sick, but is this possible? Has anyone tried this? Are there any threads out there i could read on? I tried making a search could not find anything

Any input is appreciated.

I cant believe no one bothered to respond to your first post.
Would love to know too (reason why I stubbled here). Always the need of more power.
I guess you slamed an answer for the riddle of what can be done to a w211 E55...
