Panic Button Easily Triggered!
I have owned my '99 ML430 for exactly 4 days and the panic alarm has gone off 3 times accidently.
I just have the keys in my pocket and the thing goes off. Quite embarassing especially since you have to get closer to the car to turn it off.
any solutions to this? Anyone else have this problem?

Its most likely not the panic alarm on the remote but a faulty alarm sensor. Your dealer can interogate the computer and find out exactly which sensor is causing the erronous alarm. I went thru this with my 98 ML320 and again with my 02 ML500. Its most likely either the glass breakage sensor or the tow away sensor. You can confirm this like I did by not putting the remote back into your pocket but lay it somewhere where no one can touch it.
