daughter's clutch falls almost to floor when touched, then tries to disengage (& does slightly) in the remaining inch to floor when depressed. The car is 200 mi. from me, so I can't check the fluid. Does it feed off the brake master? She can't find a reservoir for just the clutch. Is this behavior indicative of a bad hose? (assuming it feeds off the brake cyl., which is full).Suggestions?

yeah it all runs off the same resevoir, if she can, get her to check for any leaks etc from around the top of the box, sounds like it just needs bleeding through to me.

as brake fluid/clutch fluid gets older it attracts water, dirt etc and so needs to be replenished so i dont think its a leak as such. Do you know how to manually bleed through your brakes? its very similar with the clutch, there is a bleed nipple behind a black cover on the bottom side of the gearbox in the bell housing. with it going wrong "overnight" it could be anything, if and when you can look behind this cover and see if you can see any brake fluid around here leaking from the actuator.
