Cold Startup engine noise
'99 SLK230 42,000 Miles.Get a "rattle" only on cold startup. Three diffrent deales have tried to correct the problem. Last dealer replaced the supercharger. Still doing it every morning. Any ideas??

Sounds like it could be a valve lifter that bleeds down when the engine is shut off. Its difficult to diagnose things by noise on a forum
