2000 E430 Engine dies in traffic

Please help!

This has now happened 3 times. The cars just dies, no malfunction shown. The first two times it restarted fine, the last it took ten minutes of cooldown to restart. I drove it home (12 miles), and it died when I entered the garage but immediately restarted.

Is this the MAF possibly? Or CPS maybe? Thanks for all your ideas!

Jim

Could be either of those items or perhaps others. My suggestion is to have it diagnosed by a dealer before you throw parts at it.
