Can this be done??

I put power steering fluid in my gasket. (As I learn it now, the wrong one since MB has a specific kind) This has caused problems driving. Although at about 3,000 rpm the steering runs fine. Can I bleed out the old power steering fluid and wash it out with 1 quart of the new fluid then refill it with 4 more? ....also I wouldn't know where to buy the fluid other than Mercedes. They want $25 per quart I'm looking around online.

Put the fluid in your gasket??? I assume you meant your PS reservoir. Please use correct terminology here. Do not know what kind of fluid you put in but its certainly possible that its already done some damage to the seals and pump. You may wish to try draining the entire system and flushing it out, then putting in the correct MB fluid. If it does not work correctly then I am afraid you will have to replace the system.
