How to access W210 drivers-side seat belt mechanism?

How to access W210 drivers-side seat belt mechanism?
There's a clicking / ratcheting sound coming from inside the B-pillar of my W210, next to my left ear - hugely annoying. How do I remove the large, elongated trim piece covering the drivers-side seat-belt mechanism so I can inspect?

Remove Both front and rear door sill covers..remove the outer door seal on the body for the front and rear doors..slide the front seat forward..and pop off the B pillar cover..be carefull about the seat belt height slider, remove the seat belt at the seat anchor..Oh and Order a replacement seat belt retractor..the clicking is a known problem..seen several...Do this with the Key OFF!
