computer & number of malfunctions

GLB 250 4matic
computer & number of malfunctions
every once in a while, when i'm flipping thru the different computer displays, the malfunctions will say 1 malfunction or something like that. of course, i flip right thru it and when i come back, it says 0 malfunctions. does this happen to anyone else?

Do you have teliaid activated ? If not, this can cause the "1 Malfnction" Msg.

Some of the malfunctions are logged, while some of the less important ones are not. Next time you are in for service, have them do a read out on the various DTC codes and see if that leads to anything. You SHOULD NOT be recieving a 1 Malfunction msg. This isn't normal.

You can find out what the malfunction is by going to the screen that says "1 Malfunction" and then hitting the arrow buttons on the steering wheel.

heh, that's the problem. i'll try to select the malfunction, but then it says 0 malfunctions. that is, it disappears. this happens every once in a while.
