W210 poor starting when hot
All of a sudden, my 320 97 petrol has developed poor starting when engine is hot and / or it is hot outside ( we are experiencing a +20c summer in the UK 
). Had engine checked by MB specialist with diagnostic facility, but no faults shown.He suggests trial and error, by replacing common problem parts.Having replaced fuel filter, it is now suggested to replace crankshaft sensor, but to me this can only lead to ££££££/$$$$$$$$$$ of expense on my part.
Any suggestions please ??????
