Question Where are roll bar sensors? 93 300CE

Have all factory manuals, but cannot find roll bar info. Minor accident in front driver's side fender. Roll bars came up but will not go down but hear clicking when push dash button, any way to reset? does anyone know where sensors are. Also noticed a very small flashing red led on dash on a false button to left of emergency flasher button anyone know what this is?

Run the rollbar hydralics up all the way to the top, they have released and the spring pressure deployed the bar onto the top of a rachet type bar- listen carefully, you will hear the hydralics re-engage the bar, and then it will go back down.

Angry Convertible top is up, which may be restricting roll bar

I tried to get them all the way up, but not sure if they already are, or if convertible top is restricting them, cannot get top down because roll bars are restricting it. HELP!. Need a way to get them down without getting top down. Thanks

Thats what I was trying to explain- thats how you get them down- the hydralics disenage from the bar when it deploys, and spring pressure pops them up, and they lock. The hydralics must now be re-attached, so it can lower. It is supposed to re-attach it-self by pushing and holding the button 'up'- if this isn't working, sounds like something is broke in the mechanism- you have to pull apart then (not fun with the top up!!)
Usually, the button doesn't get held 'up' long enough- it's amazing how many you can 'fix' like that ...lol

How long do you hold button in up, few minutes?

Factory manuals talk about rear seat head restraints sames as "roll bars"? Does convertible top restrict them from going all the way up? Thanks again.

One and the same.. they should got all the way up with the top up- actually, they are all the way up now if deployed- what you are trying to get 'up' is the stuff you can't see behind the seat/side trim..

Talking Roll bars back down....Thanks to all

Ok I am a hockey puck.....held button up for what seemed minutes, heard typical clicking, then dead silence for a while.......then a faint "bink" sound and I knew hydraulics re engaged and sure enough pushing button in down position brought them right down, thanks guys, I guess I worked on this car so much didn't believe it could be this easy....
