A little trunk help, please.

I unplugged the electronic trunk release and cannot remember where it came from! Yes, I feel stupid but my SA could not even help me. So, I turn to the knowkedge of da forum. Does anyone with a 2002 C240 or similar have a picture of the latch area on their trunk lid? I can provide a picture if it will help.

Thanks very much for the assistance!

It is the connector for the rotary pawl switch- so the plug should be around the tumbler assembly- the switch is in that.. Don't have a picture, sorry, but that is where it goes- white with brown, blown/yellow I think

Okay, thanks. Do you think I can find it with a test light? IOW, is there constant power to it? I'll take a look again today.
