03 W211 E500 oil level issue and more..
Hi I have an issue with the MFD computer displaying that the oil level is high. But the message only displays when the vehicle goes over bumpy roads. Could it be that the sensor is triggered when the oil 'jumps' during the bump in the road? Also there seems to be a brake problem as well. It tends to make a 'brushing' noise when the wheels are in motion. Took it into the dealership and they claim it's something to do with the brakes having glaze on them. What is the resolution to these problems? please help.

You are right on with the oil level- sounds like some needs to be taken out- if it is at the high end- then sloshing could put it 'too high'
As far as the brake noise- try seating the pads- hard stopping maybe 6-7 times in a row (make sure no one's behind you!)- that usually takes the glaze off.

seems to have worked.. I did a lil speed run on the fwy and that might have fixed the brake issue. as for the oil level I'm gonna do a quick oil level check this morning before I head out.
