Can anyone tell me how to reset the service engine soon light, as well as the brake linings light. My brake pads are new and just had the vehicle serviced, of course not at a MB dealership.

if the problem with the engine sensor is still there then you need to fix it ,the service engine soon light should go away but the code will be stored in the memory and you need a scanner to clear it. Go to Auto Zone and have them scann your car for trouble codes and reset it.
Did the shop replace the brake pad sensors?

On your car, the brake pad light comes on when the sensor (or wire to it) touches ground)- so if the sensors are new (or aren't there even) then the wire is touching somewhere else.
Robert is on the money with the Check engine light , or are you talking about the service indicator? A/B, etc? that is in your owners manual

Thanks everyone.
Would that wire for the brakes be touching on the caliper? I will surely check all four of them.
As far as the light, it is the Service engine soon light. Yea, a service indicator. Not the check engine light. It tells me in the owners manual how to reset this, I could not find it.
What did you mean by A/B? I might have a brain fart here, but I'm new to this.
Thanks again...
