I just got a 2002 S500 and i heard that the key will move the seats to the proper positions that have been saved in memory....the problem is that when i use my key to unlock the doors the seat and steering column does not adjust at all....i have to press the number 1 button on the door to move the seats to the proper position....please advise as i thought all 2002 models had the feature where using the key will make all the changes for you....thank you in advance.....

Did you check to see if you have that option activated in your car?

Go through the menus and make sure it's activated.

I think this is what you have to do for the S500. Not sure though, but in our C320, it's what you have to do.

Thanks for the advice....i'll check tonight....the instructions are in the owner's manual correct?
