it has stopped working....how do i fix this? actually i shouldnt say it stopped working, but it is intermittent.

Its either the sender or the gage itself. Most likely the sender which is part of the fuel pump module. To fix it must be replaced. If its the gage the dash cluster must be replaced. Both can be rather expensive. This is a known issue with earlier ML's.

hmm i didnt search yet, ill be honest, but i didnt think it was a major problem so now i will! thanks guys...btw, the gauge works sometimes, like if its getting low, it will go back up but most of the time its on E, and the light that shows empty goes on and off.
