auto windows?
Hello, I have an 02 s430. Does it have auto window switches? If I push the window switch down should the window go all the way down? or do I have to hold the button down? also will the car remote open or close the windows and sun roof. Last of all my rear sun shade does not work, where is fuse or relay? Thanks guys.....

it should do yeah, when pushing the switch it will move down and then kind of click down this should be the auto mode. if u unlock your car then take your finger off the key and point it at the door handle (infared receiver) and push and hold unlock, all the windows and sunroof should open. have look in your spare wheel well there should be a fuse list in there, under the rear seats on the left hand side as you look at them there will be a cover with a light in it, pull this cover off from the bottom and behind is the rear sam looking for fuse 50 i think and rely q it will all be in the fuse list.

Yes, you should have auto-windows/roof w/ the switches on the doors and w/ the key. The key will both open and close windows/roof by holding down on Unlock and Lock. You can also close all by pushing and holding the Recirculate dash button when the heat/cool system is on.

does any one know if there is a reset or reboot for the auto window function? or maybe a relearn? I do not have the books for the car so if someone can look it up that would be great

I think there is, but do not recall what it is and my manual did not provide an easy to locate description. So I hope someone here will post the answer for you. If not just call a dealer near you. I think you raise the window and hold the button down for 20 or 30 seconds or something like that...

disconnect the battery for 5 mins then reconnect and lower each window slightly in turn and push and hold the button fully depressed to go back up for about 5 seconds u should hear a very quiet click after this.
