1989 260e cold air intake sensor
In between the air box and the front grill on the plastic tube bringing air into the air box, there is a 3/8" hole with a locking surround that accepts what is called a Cold Air Intake Sensor. Unfortuneately unless the sensor is also a transmitter there is no wire plugged into the back of it and I can't find any loose wires in the engine compartment. Do I buy a wiring schematic or is this hole not used in my model?
