Feedback on this needed!

Question: I have a 93 300E 2.8. I am replacing my stock 15" OEM wheels with a set of 1998
CLK 320 alloys 16 x 8". The bolt pattern lines up and the offset is fine. My problem is trying to find shorter CORRECT lug bolts as the stock bolts are too long. Even the Merc. Dealership kept pulling up the same

part# (000-990-1-07)-that's too long. It appears the thread length should be abou 1" total. The stock one are about 1/2 " too long. Can you help?

THANK YOU

Obviously these wheels are not designed for use on a W124.

OK Here it goes.

Buy the CLK lugs, and cut them off to the length you need. Also round off the bottom edge.
My friend has done this on his 91 124. He said to buy the short headed bolts for the CLK. You can not cut the bolts you have since the head is long to fit deep into the original wheel.
