rear c class axle question

I am looking to swap out the diff on my 2003 c230 coupe and I want to be sure i get the correct pumpkin.

I was asked if the axles where slide-in or bolted in?

I am looking to put the diff from a c240 in from an 03 and i want to be sure i get the right diff that will fit in my car.

i have the 1.8 c230 kompressor to clarify.

PM, Email or reply.... sooner the better.

thanks
Bryan

The rear axles are bolted to the differential. If you check on this site you should be able to find the ratios of the diffs. you are looking at. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1 .
Cheers George.
