Having recently had some work done on my C43AMG the front headlamp on the pax side was replaced. Before the work was done, when i switched the lights on they would slowly lift the beam from the ground and up into position.

They have since stopped doing this and having asked the MB garage what the problem was they drew blanks claiming that there was something wrong.

I know there was nothing wrong as it has done this from new (Previous owner a friend of mine confirms it) does any body know what the problem is or even better how to fix it??

 

could be the autolevel motor hasnt been conencted after your lens replacement, behind the faulty headlight, checkthat the plug is connected properly on the black motor unit. you may find it hasnt been connected or may be loose.

 

Or it could be that the new headlamp doesn't have leveling- that was an option..

Now am looking for a good garage (independent) who I can trust with my C43 Where do you take yours ALPS?
