CLS500 Engine Clicking Noise
Need a little help here. I have a '06 CLS500 with 8000 miles on it that has just started making a loud clicking noise after a cold engine start. I think it sounds like lifter noise and it lasts for several minutes then disappears. The MB technician recommended I purchase and add a German, MB approved, fuel system cleaner to my gas for two tank-fulls which I did to no avail. Any ideas out there?

2003 E500 Benz & 2015 BMW M235ix
My 2003 E500 precertified vehicle I bought from the dealer in Sept 05 makes a similar noise especially more noticeable in cold weather. It's still under warranty and the dealer said it's normal and don't worry about it. Even in warm weather on first start up in the morning the engine is a little noisy until it warms up and then goes away.
