Rear suspension on a 300td wagon 81 help!
I inheriated a 1981 wagon 300td from my uncle after he passed away. I put new MB springs in it however, it has some regular gas shocks. THe back of the car saggs bad and is constantly hitting the bump stops. I have a fella wanting to sell me some Hyduphnumatic shocks will this fix the sag problem? The car originally came with hydro rear shocks, which were replace by a knowledge-free cheapskate.
Were it not for the unrealistic prices for diesel cars these days, I'd say the car is totalled.
That is, it will cost you more than the car is worth to return it to original unless you get lucky and find a good condition donor car.

I can get the used shocks for 130.00. the hoses that hook up to the shocks are just hanging. Why is there nothing coming out of the lines. The res. tank is full of fluid. When the car is on why is it now pouring fluid out? What can I do?
