Where can I get a coil spring compressor for a W107? How much?

 

It might be easier/cheaper to take the whole strut unit into Pep Boys or a local shop and have them change the springs while you wait. You can also rent manual spring compressors from most tool rental shops by the half day for less than $50 but remember that the springs are under some serious tension and if they slip and shoot out it can do some major damage to you or your car! The rental type must be hand cranked a long way to get the springs in/out while the hydraulic type are quick and easy with no sweat involved. Good luck on your project.
