Keyless go problem shift into park ?
2003 SL 500 keyless go doesnt work anymore,open the door and red light in dash say's put shift lever into park?no key in ignition.

Could be a dead battery in the key, or a fault code stored in any modules. The most common cause is liquid contamination in/on the shifter, sun roof open and raining, any coffee, drinks spills on the shifter. The car must be scan for codes before any true diagnostic can begin,
