Maintenace/diag modeon on 2003 W203?

Maintenace/diag modeon on 2003 W203?
It seems that 2002 W203's could access diag mode - oil level in quarts/liters, ESP full off, etc...

by 1) holding reset button ~40 seconds, 2) hitting page down button on wheel.

This no longer works on 2003 - well on the coupe anyhow.

Any MB techs can share the new 'secret handshake' required to get into this mode?

That would certainly be one way to get the info!

Do you know of ANY hacks short of hooking up an MB laptop to get oil data? Even it if involves some aftermarket OBD II reader?
