SLK350 oil change

SLK350 oil change
My 05 slk350 had the last oil change almost a year ago. But only 1500 miles were added since last oil change. No service reminder from the car computer. Should I wait till I get a service reminder or should I go change the oil now? Please help.

The maintenance booklet, that came with my MY 2005 C-class coupe states that the interval is based on mileage OR time, 13,000 miles OR 1 year.

OLD: 2004 C230 Sport Sedan, NEW: 2007 SLK350
I am trying to drive it only a couple of days each week now, but I end up driving around a lot on weekends, and even on weeknights...
