Windows/Engine

This pertains to the 01' S500 with heat reflective side glass.

I have uniform scratches running all the way down each glass. Mainly in the front. Might there be sand in the window housing? My dealer replaced one after I bought it CPO and apoligized. Now the other front window is beginning to cratch up. Can there be some solution to buff it out? Remember they are MB tints.

My Second question,

My engine has this white liquid splattered everywhere, it since dried up. It might not have been a liquid I don't know. But there are white spots on my engine. What could that be a sign off?

-Thank You

cheaper than a benz...
white stuff probably spilled coolant from when it was last serviced..
as far as the tint being scratched..ive seen it before...theres not much you can do other than wipe the guide sweeps at the top of the door( above the door panel, where the glass sinks down....and then just retint the glass

i assume you have tint film on the glass

You mean your local MB dealer tinted them....MB doesn't have a "tint" option. Do a search for mole skin.....
