A/C Vacuum

i have a 99' clk 430....i have been reading a lot lately of MB's having an A/C vacuum problem....my warranty is about to expire and was wondering if maybe i have this problem too...i would much rather fix this problem under warranty than to have to pay for it myself....anyways any advice would be great....as far as problems i have had over the past three years they include: rubber seals on sunroof falling off within first week of owning the car, fuel sending unit (twice).....both driver and passenger seat rattles.....window on driver's side rattles....

oh and just one more thing....why does hot air only come out of the side vents when the heater is on? wondering if this is just a programming issue and if i could fix it....thanks again

thanks in advance....and have a happy new year

If you A/C system works fine now, I wouldn't worry about it. Just let it be.

Mercedes engineering says that hot air shouldn't come out of the center vents, for reasons unknown to me. During the wintertime, I get about a car per week with the complaint "Check no hot air from center dash vents." That's how they all are, they can't be programmed otherwise.
