American car in Europe
Hi guys,
A frind of mine bought a Mercedes S 500 model 04 in the US and moved back to Europe. He has two problems due to the regional differences:
- radio can recognise only the half of the stations(odd)
- comand is not working with an european disc
Do you have any idea how can I fix this? Wiould a simple software update solve it or shall he change something part as well?

I am not certain but from what I understand this cannot be fixed with software. He must install a Euro radio and euro command system. Believe that there are some other issues also like lighting, etc.

You might want to contact the dealer with the software issue. I picked my 07 up last year on the euro delivery program. The euro disk workerd fine.
