help

i have a problem with my cat! to replace here in poland it will cost me a fortune ! can i iliminate my cat it`s a 2000 3.2 cdi diesel ??????????????

first, you should calm down is it your pre (primary) cat or post (secondary) cat? the pre cat has the oxygen and egt sensors around it. the post cats have no sensors. you can replace post cats without any issues with emissions or check engine. if you replace the primary cats with aftermarket, you MAY geta check engine light depending on the cat. if you spend the $$ and replace them with stock, then of course no check engine light. if you remove the primary completely, then you will get a check engine light.

waiver: check with your local emissions regulations and laws governing the replacement of catalytic converters. it may be illegal to replace your catalytic converter for something other than off-road use.
