89 560SEL Drivers window issue
I'm about ready to scream regarding the drivers window problems I've been having. Please follow the link below for a pic & explanation of the problem. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

It changes all the time
You woudn't have the wrong regulator. Mercedes had a couple of different suppliers during those years and you had to match motors to regulators, but the mounting holes are the same. The wollowed (is that a word?) holes and cracks were caused by one of three reasons: The bolts came loose and the window was being operated in this condition. The window stops have been set incorrectly. People don't realize the window is all the way down or all the way up. Mashing on the button for an extra 30 seconds is only going to make that powerful motor flex the inner door metal. The window won't go any further in any direction.
