Tire Pressure Monitors

My S600 2002 has the units in the tires. Are there batterys in them that can be replaced ?
No monitor shows up in console so I assume they all quit and the prev. owner had it disabled..??

that model year did have lots of problems with the TPMS system. Constant error messages would come up and lots of warranty work was performed. Since then, mercedes has switched to siemens for their TPMS system and has simplified it greatly with a single antenna or two in some cars. The batteries are NOT replaceable. They are lithium and last on average of 6 years. The sensor has to be replaced after they die.
