Spark Plug change at 13,690 miles ?

Hello:

I have an 04 E55 totally stock that needs "G" service.
Out of curiousity, I went into the menus to see which particular "US Service" numbers FSS+ decided was necessary.
The following showed up -

US Service 2 - Air cleaner
4 - Dust filter
5 - Fuel filter
6 - Interior Charcoal filter
7 - Spark Plugs
9 - Replace Brake Fluid
10 - Sunroof
12 - Oil & Filter
14 - misc checks + check brake pad thickness

What caught my attention is Service 7 (replace spark plugs) !
With only 13,690 miles on the odometer, this seems quite early for a plug change.
Is there something wrong with my engine ?
I don't consider my driving style particularly aggressive, but I do own an E55.
So I have my occasional moments.

I'm curious to hear from MB Master Techs if this is typical or if there is something wrong with my engine.

Also, what is a Dust Filter (Service 4) versus the Air Cleaner (Service 2) ?
Where is the Dust Filter located ?

Thanks in advance for the help.

The fuel filter replacement won't be vaild for you model, yours is every 15yrs/250,000km.

The spark plugs will be due because due to your low milage it know's that your next service will be beyond the 4yr specified time interval so it brings it up earlier.

The service items can be added or removed if required. I would personally wait till the following service for the spark plugs.

The dust filter (service 4) is above the SBC battery while the air filter (service 2) is the engine air filter

I SAY YOU NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER ,BECAUSE IT SEEMS THAT YOUR CENTRAL GATEWAY PROBABLY HAS WRONG CODING. SPARK PLUGS ARE DO AT 5 YEARS OR 100K , THE DUST FILTER IS DUE EVERY 20K , WHILE YOUR AIR FILTERS ARE DUE AT 5 YEARS OR 60K
