Engine temperature in Celsius?

I thought I set the computer in my '02 C230K to give temperature readings in Farenheit and, indeed, the outside temperature display reflects this. However, the engine temperature is listed in Celsius.

Is this "normal," or did I set my temperature preferences only halfway correctly?

TIA.

Hmm, went out to test in my (swedish spec) car. Set the temp-display to Fahrenheit and outside-temp was displayed in Fahrenheit. However the engine-temp was still shown in Celcius.
Guess thats the way it is... (To me it causes no probs, because we meassure temp in Celcius here, but I think your question is very valid)
